MANILA (UPDATE) - Several schools in Manila received bomb threats on Thursday, the Manila Police District (MPD) said.
Initial information from the MPD showed that the Mapua Institute of Technology, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), and the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) received bomb threats one after the other "starting around 4 p.m."
The bomb squad has finished its inspection of LPU and found no bomb or hazardous materials.
The PLM and Mapua were earlier declared clear of explosives.
Mapua suspended classes and office work due to a bomb threat on Tuesday.
University of Santo Tomas also received a similar threat on Wednesday.
In all, four schools have been disrupted by bomb scares this week.
