MANILA - A total of 1,475 applicants passed the 2017 Philippine Military Academy Entrance Examination (PMAEE) conducted last August.
According to the PMA website, 15,502 took the exams in 40 testing centers throughout the country, but only 9 percent passed.
Out of the successful examinees, 996 or about two-thirds were males and 404 or about one-thirds were females.
The PMAEE passers will go through a Complete Physical Examination, the 2nd phase in the PMA Cadetship selection process.
Cadet candidates have to pass the physical examination to be appointed as member of PMA Class 2022.
They will be officially received at the PMA on April 1, 2018
