MANILA - President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed the president of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) as one of his new advisers.
BCDA President Vince Dizon has been named as Presidential Adviser for Flagship Programs and Projects, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea confirmed Friday.
As Duterte’s adviser, Dizon will monitor flagship programs identified by the President and is tasked to make recommendations.
Prior to joining the BCDA, Dizon was a consultant of now House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano during the latter’s stint at the Senate.
He also served as undersecretary for political affairs during the administration of Duterte’s predecessor, Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.
