MANILA - Six senior officials of the Philippine National Police (PNP) were appointed to different top positions in the force on Thursday.
Police Brig. Gen. Joselito Esquivel Jr., former Quezon City Police District (QCPD) chief, was appointed as regional director of the Caraga Police Regional Office while his predecessor, Police Brig. Gen. Gilberto Cruz, was appointed acting director of Integrated Police Operations in Northern Luzon.
Police Brig. Gen. Alfred Corpus, former Eastern Police District chief, was also appointed as director of the Soccsksargen Police Regional Office.
Other appointments are:
- Police Brig. Gen. Omega Jireh Fidel - Director, PNP Engineering Service
- Police Brig. Gen. Rey Lyndon Lawas - Director, PNP Training Service
- Police Col. Ronnie Montejo - Acting Director, QCPD
PNP chief Police Gen. Oscar Albayalde approved the appointments, which was recommended by the PNP Senior Officers Placement and Promotion Board.
