MANILA - Makati Regional Trial Court (RTC) 148 has released the media coverage guidelines for the hearing of the Department of Justice's request for an arrest warrant and hold departure order against Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV on Thursday.

The court prohibited all kinds of audio and video recorders inside the courtroom once the hearing begins at 9 a.m., Thursday.

Makati RTC 148 Clerk of Court Atty. Mara Peralta said only one reporter per media entity will be allowed inside the courtroom, which might not accommodate all reporters.

Cameras and recorders will be allowed for those who would like to conduct an interview before and after the hearing.

The Supreme Court earlier ruled that the Makati City court that heard Trillanes' case should be the one to decide on the legality of President Rodrigo Duterte's proclamation that voided his amnesty.

Branch 148 is the court that handled the coup d'etat case against Trillanes and his fellow mutineers over the 2003 mutiny at the Oakwood Premier hotel in Makati City. -- Report from Dexter Ganibe, ABS-CBN News
