MANILA - After nearly 12 hours, operations of the MRT-3 line fully resumed on Friday after an electrical glitch caused a major disruption in the train service.
As of 5:27 p.m., MRT-3 trains were fully operational and running, MRT officials said.
The glitch was fixed at around 4:35 p.m.
MRT-3 operations were suspended early morning on the same day after an electric cable in Guadalupe Station in Makati City reportedly dislocated, which affected the electrical supply cable of the transit line.
Operations partially resumed at around 9:45 a.m., but only from North Avenue Station until Shaw Boulevard Station.
Around 7,300 passengers were affected by the incident.
Public buses were called by transportation officials to take the stranded passengers. - Report from Arra Perez, ABS-CBN News
