MANILA -- Typhoon "Maymay" (international name: "Jebi") has left the Philippine area of responsibility on Sunday night, the state weather bureau said.
PAGASA said Maymay left the PAR at 11 p.m.
It is packing maximum winds of up to 190 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 235 kilometers per hour.
Meanwhile, PAGASA warned of heavy to intense rains with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms.
In its thunderstorm advisory released 11:21 p.m., PAGASA said the provinces of Quezon, Laguna, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite and Batangas may experience heavy to intense rains within the next two hours.
The same weather conditions are also being experienced in Metro Manila.
