MANILA- The Philippine National Police will look into possible security lapses in a condominium in Pasay City after a stabbing spree that left 5 people dead.

Metro Manila police chief, Director Oscar Albayalde on Wednesday said they will look into possible lapses committed by the security personnel of the condominium.

"Matitignan natin...Nakita dun sa CCTV area na walang nagbabantay sa kanila (security personnel), inamin nila yun na walang nagbabantay sa CCTV so hindi nila alam. Nalaman lang nila nung may nag-iingay na," he said.

The suspect, identified as Alberto Garan, had a heated argument with his girlfriend on Tuesday night and later went on a stabbing spree which also injured 10 others.

Garan was also killed by responding policemen after he fought back.
