ILOCOS NORTE- A security guard who was allegedly involved in illegal drug activities was arrested by police in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Victoria, Currimao, Ilocos Norte.

Ronel Aglipay, 42, allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu worth P500 to a poseur buyer.

According to Senior Insp. Ryan Retotar, self-confessed users who recently surrendered in the said town pointed at the suspect as their supplier of illegal drugs.

(He's on the drugs watch list. Those who have previously surrendered pointed him as their supplier. He did not stop his illegal drug activities. He was caught during a buy-bust operation.)

Retotar said Aglipay was allegedly selling drugs in his workplace and while on duty.

(According to those we have spoken with, Aglipay sells drugs while on duty at the resort he is working at.)

Aglipay, who will face charges for violating the Dangerous Drugs Act, denied the allegation.

(I do not sell drugs. I admit to using drugs before, but I have since stopped.)

Aglipay is currently detained at the Currimao Police Station.
