MANILA- Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) board member Sandra Cam said on Monday she would release "shocking" documents on alleged corruption in small-town lottery (STL) operations.

Cam disclosed this after President Rodrigo Duterte lifted last week the suspension on STL operations subject to the compliance of franchise holders with a number of conditions.

“Meron akong mga dokumento na shocking about STL. Masha-shock po dito ang publiko at magiging eye-opener ito sa lahat, na hindi lahat ng ginusto niyo makukuha niyo," she said.

(I have shocking documents about STL. The public will be shocked and this will be an eye-opener for everyone, that you can't have everything that you want.)

She, however, deferred naming PCSO officials supposedly involved in corruption pending a congressional inquiry and the Presidential Anti Corruption Commission's investigation.

“I want to address this to PCSO Board of Directors and officials there, bumalik po ang STL but Sandra Cam will not stop,” she said.

Cam also alleged that she knows several lawmakers who are "protectors" of corrupt practices in the STL.

"A lot of congressmen medyo galit sakin kasi syempre (are angry with me because they are) protector sila but I'm saying now, no sacred cow for Sandra Cam,” she said.

Malacañang earlier asked Cam to file charges against STL operators allegedly involved in corruption after she alleged that some of them, including supposed friends of President Rodrigo Duterte, do not remit the revenues that should go to PCSO.

STL and other gaming schemes like Peryahan ng Bayan and Keno were suspended for nearly month after Duterte decried "massive corruption" at the PCSO.

Cam herself was accused of corruption before the Office of the Ombudsman, with a private citizen claiming earlier this year that she failed to disclose P500-million worth of real estate properties.

Cam said she is open to a lifestyle check by the PACC to belie allegations of hidden wealth.

“Include me in the lifestyle check and investigate my person," she said.

Cam said she is ready to give up her position at PCSO if nothing significant happens in the investigation.

“I will give my job 2 to 3 months at kapag walang mangyari (if nothing happens), I will ask the president to give me another post kaysa naman mamatay ako nang wala sa oras (instead of dying at the wrong time),” she said.
