MANILA - Two airlines cancelled domestic flights Saturday as tropical storm Jolina made its way out of the Philippine area of responsibility.
Flag carrier Philippine Airlines have called off the following flights:
PR 2014 Manila - Tuguegarao
PR 2015 Tuguegarao - Manila
PR 2196 Manila - Laoag
PR 2197 Laoag - Manila
PR 2084 Manila - Basco
PR 2085 Basco - Manila
"Affected passengers with confirmed tickets may rebook/refund within thirty days from original flight date, with rebooking/refund charges waived," Philippine Airlines said in a statement posted on its official Faacebook page.
SkyJet Airlines also cancelled these flights to and from Batanes due to bad weather:
M8 816 - Manila to Basco
M8 817 - Basco to Manila
At least 4 areas were still under storm signal number 1 as of Saturday afternoon as tropical storm Jolina accelerated and re-intensified while moving west northwest at 24 kph.
