MANILA- A total of 193 people or 59 families were evacuated from different provinces in the Cordillera Administrative Region due to tropical storm "Jolina," which crossed Northern Luzon.
According to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and local government units, 198 individuals or 60 families were affected by the cyclone in the provinces of Abra, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga, and Mountain Province.
Power went out in the towns of Alfonso Lista and Aguinaldo, Ifugao Friday night and has yet to be restored as of Saturday afternoon.
One house meanwhile was reported partially damaged in Aguinaldo town.
"Jolina" made landfall over Casiguran, Aurora Friday night, with cyclone warning signals hoisted over 10 areas.
In its 11 am weather advisory, state weather bureau PAGASA said "Jolina" is expected to leave the Philippine area of responsibility Saturday night.
