MANILA - A sketch from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Crime Laboratory shows 17-year-old Kian Loyd delos Santos sustained only 2 gunshot wounds, contrary to an autopsy report from the Public Attorney's Office.
The anatomical sketch released on Thursday shows the 11th grader sustained two gunshot wounds to the head, in his left ear.
The PNP Crime Laboratory yesterday said the two bullets entered the left ear of Delos Santos and went out of the right ear.
It also confirmed the downward trajectory of the gunshots but stressed that the direction does not automatically mean that the teen was on the ground when he was shot, as claimed by a forensic scientist from PAO.
"[Puwedeng] matangkad 'yung assailant kasi pababa, or 'yung position nasa steep [place] sila tas nasa taas 'yung bumabaril. Pero we cannot really say na nakahiga or ano," said medico legal officer Jane Monson.
The PNP-Internal Affairs Service on Thursday also submitted its Motu-Proprio Investigation Report to PNP chief Director General Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa, recommending a pre-charge investigation on the three cops linked to Delos Santos' killing.-- report from Maan Macapagal, ABS-CBN News
