MANILA — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has issued a yellow rainfall warning over Metro Manila and Bulacan on Saturday night.
In its latest weather bulletin posted at 9 p.m., PAGASA said there's a threat of floods in low-lying areas in Metro Manila and Bulacan.
Heavy rains with lightning and strong winds will affect Zambales, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Pampanga, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas and Quezon for the next two hours.
A yellow warning means 7.5 to 15 millimeters of rainfall are expected in the subsequent hours.
The public is advised to monitor the weather condition.
Meanwhile, a low-pressure area was spotted in the vicinity of Cagayan province on Saturday morning.
