MANILA - University of Santo Tomas has ordered the expulsion of one of its students following physical abuse complaints.
According to The Varsitarian, College of Science student Kyle Viray has been expelled from the university after a second complaint of physical abuse.
Viray was first found guilty of violating the university's Student Code of Conduct and Discipline after his ex-girlfriend complained of multiple physical abuse.
At that time, Viray was given 250 hours of community service and exclusion from solemn investiture rites as punishment.
Diane Arcena, Viray's ex-girlfriend, took to social media to reveal the physical abuse she received from her then unnamed ex-boyfriend.
Arcena identified Viray in her interview with The Varsitarian.
Viray was eventually expelled following another physical abuse complaint.
