MANILA - A fishing vessel carrying 7 Filipinos capsized off the coast of Brunei, the Department of Foreign Affairs said Monday.
In a statement, the DFA said it is coordinating with Brunei authorities for updates on the country's joint search and rescue operations with Malaysia.
Two members of the 11 ship crew of Brunei-flagged Radims 2 were rescued before search operations halted Sunday, the DFA said.
The last communication between the vessel's owner and its captain was last Wednesday, August 7, according to the Embassy's Philippine Overseas Labor Office.
