Police confiscated an estimated P88-million worth of shabu from the house of Albuera, Leyte Mayor Ronald Espinosa, Sr. on Wednesday.
Armed with a search warrant, authorities swooped down on Espino's home in Sitio Tinago, Barangay Binolho in Albuera town at around 6 a.m.
Operatives found 11 kilograms of narcotics there. The raid also yielded 12 camouflage uniforms and various materials for homemade bombs.
Police also combed through Espinosa's house on Tuesday and found several high-powered firearms.
President Duterte named the mayor as a drug coddler on August 1.
Espinosa surrendered to the Philippine National Police (PNP) the following day and later admitted that his son, Ronald "Kerwin" Espinosa, is a top drug trafficker in Visayas.
On August 3, six suspected hitmen from "Espinosa Group" were killed in an encounter with policemen in the mayor's residential compound.
The Espinosa patriarch was rushed Saturday to an undisclosed hospital after suffering hypertension. His son remains a fugitive.
