DFA reports 13 new cases of COVID-19 among Filipinos abroad; total now at 9,569

MANILA - The number of Filipinos abroad sick with COVID-19 is now at 9,569, with 13 new cases reported Sunday, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said.

DFA also said there are no new reported deaths nor recoveries, with the numbers still at 671 and 5,572, respectively.

To date, some 3,326 Filipino patients abroad are undergoing treatment for COVID-19, broken down as follows by region: 274 in the Asia Pacific Region, 507 in Europe, 2,405 in the Middle East and Africa and 140 in the Americas.

In the Philippines, the novel coronavirus has so far sickened 103,185 people. The tally includes 2,059 deaths, 65,557 recoveries and 35,569 active cases.
