MANILA - State-run People's Television Network (PTV) on Saturday said it would be airing a limited number of programs starting Monday, Aug. 3, to disinfect the company headquarters in Quezon City from COVID-19.

"PTV will continue to provide the nation with the latest news and information through its hourly newsbreaks and its primetime newscast at 6 p.m.," the broadcaster said.

The network is set to resume regular programming on Aug. 10.

Meanwhile, the Presidential Communications Operations Office had 22 active cases and a fatality, the Philippine Information Agency had an active case and 2 recoveries, while Radio Television Malacañang had 3 active cases.
