CEBU CITY - A flight attendant is currently under the custody of Cebu City Police after she kidnapped a one-month-old baby last Saturday at V. Rama Street, Barangay Sambag Uno, Cebu City.

According to the stewardess, Michelle Collamar, she desperately wants to have a child of her own after suffering two miscarriages.

Gelyn Salimbaga, mother of the kidnapped baby, said she and her child were enticed by Collamar to ride her car. Collamar also introduced herself as Irene Flores.

Salimbaga added that Collamar promised to give her grocery items and one thousand pesos in exchange for going to an event in the nearest mall.

Collamar then told Salimbaga to get the child's vaccination card from her house, which she did. When she returned, Collamar had already left the area with the baby.

Authorities were able to trace the vehicle, which is owned by Collamar's husband.

Although she was under arrest, Collamar was brought to St. Vincent Hospital after she reportedly experienced bleeding.

Salimbaga decided not to file charges against Collamar after she learned about the personal problem faced by the suspect.
