MANILA - The Parañaque City Hall legislative building and three other offices will be closed until July 22 for disinfection, said Mayor Edwin Olivarez.
In a Facebook post, Olivarez said that starting Monday, offices of the judiciary and other national government agencies, all offices of Sangguniang Panglungsod, Treasurer's Office and the Business Permits and Licensing Office are closed.
"This is to give way for containment and disinfection activities. Temporary closure shall remain in effect from July 20-22, 2020," the mayor said in a Facebook post.
As July 18, Parañaque has logged an 855 active COVID-19 cases out of the total confirmed cases is now 1,944. The number of recovered patients stood at 1,017 (52.3%) and deaths have a total number of 72 (3.7%), Olivarez said in a separate update.
