MANILA — The Office of the Solicitor General in Makati will temporarily shut down beginning Monday after an employee contracted the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The worker tested positive for the pathogen on Sunday, said administrative officer Melani Gordo.

"Effective immediately, the OSG premises will be locked down until further notice," she said in a statement.

The OSG is tracing those who had close contact with its sick worker, and disinfecting its office and buses.

Only the sanitation team and staff of the Facility Management System may enter the office and no documents will be received or sent out until further notice, Gordo added.
