LAPU-LAPU CITY - A total of P4.7 million worth of illegal drugs were confiscated by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-7) from an alleged drug lord in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu on Wednesday.
Marieta Seleri, 57, was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Sitio Ampalaya, Barangay Gun-ob.
PDEA-7 Regional Director Yogi Ruiz said they have been monitoring Selerio for a month.
The suspect was able to allegedly sell up to 1 kilo of methamphetamine or "shabu" a week.
Authorities said the suspect's supplies came from the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa.
It alleged that Selerio, who is now facing criminal charges, had been selling illegal drugs for 10 years.
