MANILA - For the first time, Vice President Leni Robredo joined the Cabinet meeting in Malacañang on Monday.
A photo slideshow of Robredo's first Cabinet meeting was posted by the Presidential Communications Office.
Last week, Robredo was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte as chair of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDDC).

When asked what made Duterte change his mind in appointing Robredo to a post, Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II said recent events led to a "warming up between the two."
Robredo, who ran under the Liberal Party, said Duterte already brought up the offer when she paid a courtesy call on the President earlier.
"Hindi na ako nagulat nung tinawagan niya ako. Kasi when I visited him in Malacañang, parang he already told me, 'I want you to be a part of my Cabinet,'" Robredo said.
