MANILA - Relatives, friends and loved ones attended the last Mass for the 5 massacre victims on Wednesday held at St. Joseph Parish in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

During the Mass, Dexter Carlos wept as he looked at the caskets of his wife Estrella, his three kids, and mother-in-law Auring.

Loved ones who attended the Mass wore white shirts calling for justice for the murder victims and the revival of the death penalty.

Members of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption, a group helping the Carlos family, also attended the Mass. The 5 massacre victims will be laid to rest this afternoon.

Carmelino Ibañez, who admitted murdering the victims, is the only suspect under the custody of the police. Ibañez initially admitted that he raped Estrella and Auring but retracted in his official statement.

One of his cohorts, alias "Inggo," was found dead yesterday, while the other one, alias "Tony," is missing.

President Rodrigo Duterte earlier said there will be justice for victims of the massacre.

"There will be justice. Paano? I don’t know how, “ Duterte told reporters after visiting the wake.

“Basta sabi nila patay na 'yung isa. 'Pagka ganoon, there will be many more to come,” he said.
