MANILA - Vice President Leni Robredo on Friday refused to rate President Rodrigo Duterte's performance during his first year in office, saying it would be "unfair" to do so.
Robredo, who resigned as Duterte's housing chief last year due to policy differences, instead called on the public to support the government.
"Palagay ko unfair naman kay Pangulo kung ako iyong mag ge-grade sa kaniya," she was quoted as saying in a transcript released by her office.
(It will be unfair for me to grade the President.)
(Many good things were done. There were also many shortcomings. But we should work together to address these shortcomings. The success of the administration is our success as well.)
