MANILA - A newborn boy was found near a Jollibee store in Imus, Cavite on Wednesday morning.
Jesica Verano, an employee of the fast-food chain, said a traffic enforcer brought the baby into the store and their crew helped feed and clean the child.
And may kaunting dugo pa din yung ulo niya.
(He seems to be a newborn. His navel wound is fresh and he has some blood on his forehead. It's like someone was in a hurry to clean him then left him.)
(I don't know who found the baby. We saw a traffic enforcer carrying him into the store. We saw him when our team leader took him to feed and clean.)
Verano said the Department of Social Welfare and Development in Cavite has taken the baby into custody.
Verano's post on Facebook has garnered more than 5,400 reactions and 3,655 shares as of posting.
