Five more cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were logged in Zamboanga City on Tuesday, according to health officials.

This brings the city's total number of infections to 190.

In an advisory, the Zamboanga Task Force COVID-19 said the new cases were a student from virus-stricken Cebu City, a 69-year-old woman also from Cebu City, a returning OFW, another student, and a 68-year-old who's a case of community transmission.

The task force said that two of the patients are confined in the Zamboanga City Medical Center while the rest, who are asymptomatic, were brought to the Lantaka Quarantine Facility.

Officials earlier issued an executive order extending the general community quarantine in Zamboanga City until June 30.

However, lockdowns during Sundays will be temporarily lifted, while curfew hours have been shortened to 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. from the previous 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
