MANILA — The Quezon City government on Monday said there are now 2,673 coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in the city.
The city government, in a statement, said 65 more people have recovered from the respiratory illness, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,369.
The death toll stood at 213, with 5 new fatalities, data from the Department of Health (DOH) showed.
From the tally of infections, some 2,592 patients have complete addresses while 971 are considered active.
Barangay Batasan Hills and Culiat have the most COVID-19 cases with 118 and 129, respectively, followed by Bahay Toro with 96.
The city government has placed certain areas under a 14-day special concern lockdown due to high number of COVID-19 cases.
They are Sitio Militar in Bahay Toro, Calle 29 in Libis, Kaingin Bukid in Apolonio Samson; 138 Ermin Garcia St. and 52 Imperial St. in E. Rodriguez.
