MANILA—Quezon City on Saturday reported 30 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), raising the city’s tally to 2,635.
The city government said 13 more people recovered from the respiratory illness, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,304.
The death toll stood at 208, with 1 new fatality recorded, data from the Department of Health (DOH) showed.
From the tally of infections, some 2,539 patients have complete addresses while 965 are considered active.
Barangay Batasan Hills and Culiat have the most COVID-19 cases with 117, followed by Bahay Toro with 94.
The city government has placed certain areas under a 14-day special concern lockdown due to high number of COVID-19 cases.
They were Sitio Militar in Bahay Toro, Calle 29 in Libis, Kaingin Bukid in Apolonio Samson (starting June 10); 138 Erlin Garcia St. and 52 Imperial St. in E. Rodriguez (starting June 13).
