MANILA- Nearly 3,000 Resorts World Manila (RWM) employees marched along the streets of Newport City in Pasay City Wednesday morning in a show of support for the company, two weeks after the fire and attack at the entertainment and gaming complex that left 38 dead..

The assembly, which RWM representatives said was organized by employees with consent of management, coincided with the resumption of the House of Representatives' probe into the June 2 incident.

Employees wore white t-shirts with printed statements such as "We are one RWM" and "Bangon RWM".

They also chanted slogans made for the occasion and sang along to the company anthem.

A program was then held outside the casino building, which is still undergoing repairs for damages in the attack, when gunman Jessie Carlos torched the casino and engaged security in a firefight.

Selected employees gave testimonials about their service with the company, some becoming emotional during their speeches.

The attack before dawn on June 1 left 37 employees and guests dead. The gunman, a gambler deep in dead, committed suicide on site.
