The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in Quezon City breached 2,600 on Friday, the city government said.
The city now has 2,605 cases of the disease.
Of the number, 2,509 have addresses in the city while 2,445 were validated by the QC Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit and District Health Offices.
The city government said 67 more patients have recovered from the disease, bringing the total to 1,291, while the death toll is now at 207 after recording 7 new fatalities.
There are still 947 active cases in the city, the local government unit said.
A special concern lockdown is still implemented in Sitio Militar in Bahay Toro, Calle 29 in Libis and Kaingin Bukid in Apolonio Samson.
