MANILA - A magnitude 3.6 tremor shook parts of Southern Leyte on Sunday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
Phivolcs said Intensity III was felt in the towns of Hinunangan, Hinundayan, and Anahawan, while Intensity II was felt in the town of San Francisco.
The earthquake, which was tectonic in origin, happened at around 12:41 p.m., Phivolcs said. Its epicenter was located 8 kilometers east of Hinunangan.
Phivolcs said it is not expecting any aftershocks or damage to structures.
