Quezon City coronavirus disease cases breach 2,400

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in Quezon City breached 2,400 on Monday, according to the health department's data, the city government said.

The city now has 2,404 cases of the disease.

Of the number, 2,302 have addresses in the city while 2,230 were validated by the QC Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit and District Health Offices.

Seven more patients in the city have recovered from the disease, bringing the total to 1,141, while the death toll remained at 194.

There are still 895 active cases in the city, the local government unit said.

The city government said that the special concern lockdown has been lifted in Dakila St., Batasan Hills, Lower Gulod, Sauyo, Vargas St., and GK Ancop, Culiat and Agno St., and ROTC Hunters, Tatalon.

The lockdown is still implemented in Sitio Militar in Bahay Toro, Kalayaan in Batasan Hills, Calle 29 in Libis and Homart Road in Baesa, it added.
