MANILA - Seven senators posted a perfect attendance in the 17th Congress' just-concluded third regular session held from July 23, 2018 to June 4 this year.
The Upper Chamber said Senate President Vicente Sotto III, Majority Leader Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri, Minority Leader Franklin M. Drilon, Senators Panfilo Lacson, Gregorio Honasan, Joel Villanueva and Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III were the role models for having attended all of 61 plenary sessions.
"Sotto and Lacson have managed to keep a perfect attendance all throughout the 17th Congress, having accomplished the same in the first and second regular sessions in 2016 and 2017, respectively," the Senate said in a statement released Sunday.
Sotto, Honasan, Lacson and Zubiri also achieved a clean attendance record with no records of coming in after the roll call, calling in sick or being on official missions in the entire 3rd regular session, the Senate said.
Congress adjourned last June 4.
