MANILA - The Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) will charge higher toll rates starting June 14, the Toll Regulatory Board said Saturday.
Class 1 vehicles or ordinary cars travelling from Mabalacat City (Mabiga Interchange) in Pampanga to Tarlac will pay an additional P20 under the new fee, bringing the toll from P104 to P124.
Using the same route, buses and small commercial trucks, or Class 2 vehicles will pay an additional P40 if coming from the same route, bringing the toll from P208 to P248.
Meanwhile, large trucks or trailers or class 3 vehicles will pay an additional P60, bringing their toll to P372 from P312.
Class 1 motorists travelling between Mabalacat and Tipo and Subic will have to pay an additional P32.
Class 2 vehicles traversing the same route will have to pay an additional P66, or a rate of P467 from P401.
Class 3 vehicles will have to pay an additional P98 on top of the old fees, bringing the rate to P690 from P592
TRB in March last approved a toll hike for NLEX effective March 20.
