Duterte appoints tourism chief Teo’s husband to gov’t post

MANILA – President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed the husband of Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo to a state post, among 13 new civil servants named to government positions last week. 

Roberto Teo was appointed board member of the Land Bank of the Philippines Leasing and Finance Corp, according to an appointment paper released by Malacañang on Tuesday.

He once served as member of the board of directors of the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority, representing travel and tours enterprises.

He also served as Davao City assistant administrator for operations.

Aside from Teo, President Duterte also appointed 12 others: 

Alex Roldan - Direcor IV, Department of the Interior and Local Government

Pedrito Angeles - Board Member, Home Development Mutual Fund

Leticia Damasco - Board Member, Philippine Postal Savings Bank

Jaime Paz - Board Member, Social Housing Finance Corp.

Emiliano Reyes - Board Member, Social Housing Finance Corp.

Leonardo Lopez – Board Member, Manila International Airport Authority

Ricardo Juliano - Board Member, Land Bank of the Philippines Resources and Development Corp.

Jennifer Namoc-Yasol - Prosecutor IV, National Prosecution Service in Panabo City 

Annalyn Cuisia - Board of Trustees member, Land Bank Countryside Development Foundation Inc. 

Teresita Soriano-Brazil - Board of Trustees member, Land Bank Countryside Development Foundation Inc.

Conrado Miñano - Board Member, Land Bank of the Philippines Leasing and Finance Corp. 

Dimapuno Datu - Board Member, Light Rail Transit Authority
