US Embassy Manila cancels all scheduled immigrant, non-immigrant visa interviews

MANILA - The US Embassy in Manila on Thursday announced the cancellation of all scheduled immigrant and non-immigrant visa interviews until further notice amid the continuing COVID-19 crisis. 

"The U.S. Embassy in the Philippines has canceled all immigrant and non-immigrant visa interviews scheduled through June 11 due to the Philippines' community quarantine measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19," the Embassy said.

The Embassy added that visa services would resume as soon as possible but that it currently could not provide a specific date.

All affected applicants should reschedule their visa interviews through the Embassy call center by phone at +63 (2) 7792-8988 or +63 (2) 8548-8223, or through the online appointment system at

The Embassy said no additional fees will be collected to change an appointment. Visa fees are also valid for one year in the country where the fee was paid.
