MANILA - The US Embassy in Manila on Thursday announced the cancellation of all scheduled immigrant and non-immigrant visa interviews until further notice amid the continuing COVID-19 crisis.
"The U.S. Embassy in the Philippines has canceled all immigrant and non-immigrant visa interviews scheduled through June 11 due to the Philippines' community quarantine measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19," the Embassy said.
The Embassy added that visa services would resume as soon as possible but that it currently could not provide a specific date.
All affected applicants should reschedule their visa interviews through the Embassy call center by phone at +63 (2) 7792-8988 or +63 (2) 8548-8223, or through the online appointment system at ustraveldocs.com/ph.
The Embassy said no additional fees will be collected to change an appointment. Visa fees are also valid for one year in the country where the fee was paid.
