MANILA - Twenty-nine more overseas Filipinos tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Wednesday.
This brings the total of overseas infections among Filipinos to 2,664. There are also 6 new fatalities, with the number of deaths now at 334.
Meanwhile, the number of Filipino migrants who recovered from COVID-19 is up by 25 to 930, the DFA said.
To date, 1,400 Filipino patients are undergoing treatment for COVID-19 abroad, broken down as follows by region: 129 in the Asia-Pacific, 459 in Europe, 541 in the Middle East and Africa, and 271 in the Americas.
In the Philippines, COVID-19 has so far infected 15,049 people, of whom 904 have died while 3,506 have recovered.
