MANILA—Nancy Binay slid to 12th place in the senatorial race, partial and official results tallied by the Commission on Elections showed on Saturday, May 18.
As of 8 p.m., Binay received 13,784,692 votes, followed by JV Ejercito with 13,677,424 votes. Both are seeking re-election.
Binay, who placed 11th after the counting on Friday night, has said she is confident that she will lead Ejercito by some 200,000 votes to secure the last Senate seat.
