The city of Mandaluyong on Thursday recorded 11 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), bringing the total to 526, the city public information office said.
The city government said 156 patients have recovered from the disease, while 45 others have died.
Barangay Addition Hills has the most number of COVID-19 cases with 80, followed by Mauway with 73, and Highway Hills with 51.
The number of probable COVID-19 cases in the city is at 618 while the suspected cases is at 1,030.
Barangays Addition Hills and Mauway were earlier placed under total lockdown in an effort to contain the virus.
Malacañang on Tuesday said that Metro Manila, Laguna and Cebu City will shift to a modified lockdown until the end of the month while the rest of the country will have fewer restrictions as the enhanced community quarantine lapses on Friday.
To date, the Philippines has tallied 11,876 coronavirus infections, with 790 deaths while 2,337 have recovered.
