The Dimaporo clan is poised to maintain its stranglehold of Lanao del Norte, getting a huge chunk of votes based on the partial, unofficial poll results on Tuesday.
Incumbent governor Imelda "Angging" Quibranza-Dimaporo is already a sure winner after getting 186,472 of the votes over Rafael Rizalda (47,269).
First District Congressman Mohamad Khalid Quibranza-Dimaporo is set to retain his seat with 88,951 votes. At a distant second is political foe Florendo Opay (9,042).
Abdullah "Bobby" Dimakuta Dimaporo will also retain his seat as Second District congressman by garnering 93,195 votes against Sonaya Mutia (39,597).
They also rule the municipality of Sultan Naga Dimaporo, with a pair of Dimaporos running unopposed. Motalib Dimaporo is poised to win as mayor, while Ulwan Dimaporo will be his vice mayor.
The results was based on 99.84 percent of votes accounted as of 9:22 p.m. on Tuesday.
