MANILA - Senatorial aspirant Neri Colmenares on Tuesday said he will "never concede" and will continue to fight against a "rotten electoral exercise."
Colmenares is in 24th spot in the Senate race with 4,578,927 votes, based on 95.47 percent of partial and unofficial election returns as of 9:22 p.m.
"I will never concede defeat to a rotten electoral exercise that has basically deceived, bribed, intimidated and manipulated our people into electing the worst kinds of leaders imaginable. Tuloy ang laban! #LabanPinas," he said in a tweet.
The former Bayan Muna representative and several partylist groups, were hit by fake news about the supposed cancellation of his candidacy on Election Day.
The Commission on Elections, however, said it has no responsibility over the incident.
