DAVAO CITY - Another batch of returning residents of Davao City arrived Wednesday noon from Manila.

The second sweeper flight mostly carried overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who were stranded in Manila due to the implementation of enhanced community quarantine in Luzon.

According to Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio through Davao City Disaster Radio, there were about 400 people who have been listed but only 270 arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

“Daghan ang mga wala nanakay. We don't know what happened to them,” Duterte-Carpio said.

(Many were not able to board. We don’t know what happened to them.)

All the passengers were subjected to screening for possible symptoms of COVID-19. They are all required to undergo a strict self-quarantine for 14 days.

On Monday morning, 120 passengers have arrived from Clark, Pampanga.
