MANILA- Malacañang congratulated Monday Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle for being named as a cardinal-bishop, the highest order of cardinals in the Catholic Church.
Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque thanked Tagle for bringing honor to the Philippines, also known as Asia's bastion of Catholicism.
"Kami po ay binabati ang ating, His Eminence, Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle sa kaniyang pagtatalaga bilang isang cardinal-bishop," Roque said in a virtual press briefing.
