MANILA -- The results of the 2018 Bar examinations will be released on Friday, May 3, the Supreme Court said.
Associate Justice Mariano del Castillo, head of the 2018 Bar Examinations Committee, will announce the results at the High Court quadrangle in Padre Faura, Manila, said the Supreme Court Public Information Office (SCPIO).
The list of successful examinees will then be posted at the Supreme Court website and its mirror sites, it added.
Last year saw the highest ever number of examinees at a total of 8,155, said the SCPIO.
The 2018 Bar exams were held at the University of Santo Tomas during all 4 Sundays of November.
The exams covered various areas including Political Law, Labor Law, Civil Law, Taxation, Mercantile Law, Criminal Law, Remedial Law, and Legal and Judicial Ethics.
The Office of the Bar Confidant under Assistant Bar Confidant Atty. Amor Entila administered the country's 117th Bar exams.
During the 2017 Bar exams, 25 percent or 1,724 out of the 6,748 takers passed.
