COVID-19 cases in Valenzuela City now at 92

The city of Valenzuela on Tuesday said it has recorded 92 cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The city government said 12 patients have recovered from the disease, while 6 others have died.

The number of probable cases in the city is 8 while the suspected cases is 262.

In a targeted mass testing, a total of 680 people in the city were tested for the disease.

The national government has extended the enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila and other parts of the country for another two weeks while placing other areas under general community quarantine.

The Philippines has recorded 7,958 coronavirus disease cases as of Tuesday, with 530 deaths and 975 recoveries.
