COVID-19 cases in Marikina City reach 106

MANILA - The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in Marikina City has reached 106, the city's public information office said Tuesday.

The city government said 18 patients have recovered from the disease, while 18 others have died.

Barangay Concepcion Uno has the most number of COVID-19 cases with 16, followed by Marikina Heights with 12, and Concepcion Dos at 11.

The number of probable cases in the city is at 9 while the suspected cases is at 18.

The national government has extended the enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila and other parts of the country for another two weeks while placing other areas under general community quarantine.

The Philippines has recorded 7,958 coronavirus disease cases as of Tuesday, with 530 deaths and 975 recoveries.
