Monday afternoon's magnitude 6.1 quake centered in Castillejos, Zambales and was felt in Metro Manila and neighboring provinces.

In Pampanga province, a supermarket collapsed in Porac town, while cracks were observed on a mega dike, the Sasmuan Road and the Consuelo Bridge in Floridablanca town, said Public Works Secretary Mark Villar.

The Emilio Aguinaldo College in the capital also sustained damage, he said.

Assessment teams, he said, were set to give hourly updates on the infrastructure damage.
