MANILA - The Office of the Vice President on Wednesday urged the public, especially children, to send letters and artwork for frontliners and patients battling the COVID-19 pandemic.

Those who wish to participate may either scan or take a high-resolution photo of their letter or artwork, made on plain white paper, and send it to the Istorya ng Pag-asa team by email at
[email protected] or Viber, WhatsApp or Telegram at 0917 889 4250, said the OVP.

Vice President Robredo's office said it would print the submissions and send these with donations to hospitals, partners and volunteers.

"Aside from bringing cheer to frontliners, the project also hopes to provide an avenue for children to express themselves, which many of them may find difficult to do during stressful situations such as this," said the OVP.

The office also asked the public to share inspirational stories during the community lockdowns by using the hashtag #SalamatSaPagasa, or send these anecdotes to the email and mobile number listed above.

These stories will be posted on Istorya ng Pag-asa’s Facebook and Instagram pages, and may also be featured on Robredo's weekly radio program “Biserbisyong Leni,” said the OVP.
